ESRIC Start-up Support Programme V

In the fifth round of the ESRIC Start-up Support Programme, the teams went through a series of customised mentoring sessions, enabling them to validate their technical concepts and align them with market opportunities. Just like their predecessors, they had certain milestones to accomplish.

At the end of the three-month programme one venture will be selected and supported to open a business entity in Luxembourg, hosted at Technoport.

Find out more about the ventures part of the programme.

Dhow Energy & Exploration

Dhow Energy & Exploration is a resource exploration company working across terrestrial and space environments. With broad industry experience and cross-sector knowledge, the team identifies and develops resource opportunities, carries out geological and technical assessments, and manages strategic portfolios. The company also supports clients by improving financial and business models through its expertise in geoscience, technology, and economics, combined with specialised software tools.

Interstellar Mapping

Interstellar Mapping is a data and hardware company focused on lunar resource exploration. Their dual-use technology supports both space and terrestrial applications, including defence, mining, and humanitarian aid.

IMENSUS

IMENSUS delivers high-precision subsurface data for lunar exploration by actively generating seismic waves, offering a more accurate alternative to passive methods. Their system complements ground-penetrating radar by revealing elastic contrasts in the subsurface, enabling deeper and higher-resolution mapping essential for future lunar operations.

Polimak Space

Polimak Space is developing a patented Modular Drum Conveyor (MDC) system designed for efficient, continuous, and dust-controlled transport of lunar regolith. Scalable and modular, the MDC integrates seamlessly with downstream ISRU payloads, supporting activities such as oxygen extraction, construction, and analysis. As lunar missions advance, Polimak’s technology aims to become a critical part of the infrastructure enabling resource utilisation on the Moon.

MIRORES

MIRORES develops customised instruments for resource identification, tailored to the specific needs of private sector clients. Their Far-Infrared Ore Spectrometers are engineered to function in extreme environments, enabling sustainable mining operations both on the Moon and on Earth. By integrating cutting-edge remote sensing technology with geological data, MIRORES aims to revolutionise the way resources are discovered and managed.

Aphelia

Aphelia develops advanced millimetre-wave Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) systems for lunar and terrestrial applications. Their high-efficiency, over-the-air energy technology is designed to power rovers, habitats, and ISRU sites in the Moon’s shadowed regions, while also transforming energy delivery in defence and drone operations on Earth.
